Rcoz is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on mental health prevention in South Asian communities. We help individuals and families recognize concerns earlier and seek support before a crisis by sharing real lived-experience stories from South Asians and hosting community conversations with trusted mental health professionals who understand the cultural context. This approach helps families find the language, understanding, and confidence to seek help earlier. Click here to learn more.
Rcoz primarily serves South Asian individuals and families, including youth, parents, and caregivers. Our programs are designed to make mental health conversations more accessible and culturally relevant, encouraging earlier understanding and help-seeking.
Rcoz offers expert-led community dialogues, workshops, panel discussions, support groups (adults only) for youth, parents and caregivers. Click here to learn more.
Rcoz supports youth mental health by working across generations. We create programs where South Asian youth can speak openly about their well-being without shame, while also equipping parents and caregivers with the language and understanding to respond earlier and more effectively. This dual approach helps shift long-standing patterns and encourage healthier conversations at home. To learn more about our youth programs, visit our Youth Programs page.
Chalo Baatein Karen (“Let’s Just Talk”) is a community-driven discussion series focused on educating, informing, and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health in the South Asian community. Each session offers a space for individuals to share their stories, ask questions, and engage with culturally attuned mental health professionals, building awareness and understanding while encouraging people to seek the right help. We host Chalo Baatein Karen sessions throughout the year. Visit our Events page for the next scheduled conversation and registration details, or join our newsletter to stay updated.
